An elderly woman in her 90s contacts the police, suspecting she has been a victim of fraud in her home in Skinnskatteberg.

The woman was called by a person who claimed she had ordered furniture from a furniture company, which the woman denied. The call was then transferred to a person who claimed to represent a bank. During the conversation, the discussion was steered towards the woman's valuable items in her home.

During the conversation, a person appeared at the woman's home and claimed to be from a security company that would take care of the woman's belongings for storage. The woman handed over valuable jewelry worth a high amount. The investigation may reveal the exact amount, but it is likely to be a six-figure sum.

The patrol sets up a report on the case of aggravated fraud. There is currently no suspect in the case.
