The cases from the night have been of a routine nature. For example, drunk driving, traffic offenses, wildlife accidents, traffic controls, intoxication, crime prevention work, and various other controls on their own initiative or after alarm from the public that have not led to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.

* At 19:09 on Tuesday evening, a SOS alarm was received about a fire in an industrial building in Skillingaryd, Vaggeryd. It is said to have burned fiercely from windows and roof of the building. No person has been injured. The police have initiated an investigation into arson, as it is unclear how the fire started and the building has a high asset value. The fire site will be cordoned off and a forensic examination will be carried out when possible.
