This has occurred on county road 181 west of Floby. The driver (man 50-year-old) is transported by ambulance to hospital. Unknown extent of injury but is said to have been awake and able to speak. The elk is said to have run away from the scene and a decision has therefore been made that hunters should search for the animal.
