The police regional command center has handled around 40 cases between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM that concern Södermanland County.

06:22 The police were alerted to the mall on Rademachergatan in Eskilstuna due to a caller hearing glass shattering and another person seeing a man break at least one window with a fire extinguisher. When the police arrived at the scene, a 25-year-old man was found, as well as several broken windows belonging to the mall. The man was suspected of vandalism. He was not apprehended.

In addition, the police have had cases of wildlife accidents, traffic controls, mental health, and various other checks on their own initiative or after a call from the public that did not lead to anything serious.

No more serious violent crimes have come to the police's knowledge.
