August 10, 08.17, Summary of the night, Jämtland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.02 Fraud, Östersund:
Police patrol is ordered to a restaurant in central Östersund where a man tried to get in with someone else's identification. A report is filed regarding the misuse of a document.

01.30 Fire, Strömsund:
Alarm about a fire in a car in central Strömsund. Police patrol is ordered to the scene. There are no reports of anyone being injured in connection with the fire. A report is filed regarding a fire with no suspicion of a crime.

03.11 Wildlife accident, Krokom:
Police patrol is ordered to E14, Krokom, where a car collided with an elk. There are no reports of any of the four people in the car needing to be taken to hospital care. The elk died in connection with the accident and a hunting guide is called out to take care of it.

Other:
A person has been taken into custody for intoxication.

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
