Witnesses call in and say that a man has been attacked by one or more perpetrators. Some kind of weapon is supposed to have been used. This is supposed to have happened somewhere on Dahlströmsgatan or Ekedalsgatan. The suspected perpetrator or perpetrators are then supposed to have run from the scene. Police are on the scene with numerous resources, including a helicopter, to search for the suspects. The complainant is being seen to by an ambulance on the scene and is awake and able to speak.   

Update 19:38:
The complainant, a man in his 50s, is being taken to hospital by ambulance. He is awake, able to speak and there is no information that he is seriously injured. A woman is also supposed to have been hit in connection with the incident but there is no information that she needs hospital care. Police continue to work on the scene with numerous resources to hear witnesses and search for suspects. The circumstances surrounding what actually happened are still unclear.

A man has been apprehended and arrested, suspected in the matter.
