Police patrol stopped during the morning a reported driver, the reason for the vehicle being reported to patrols on duty was that the current vehicle was seized for some day ago. The vehicle was seized in Borlänge 20250728.

The driver of the vehicle was a woman in her 18-year-old age, as a passenger sat a boy in his 16-year-old age. Both individuals were apprehended by the patrol suspected of theft of a vehicle. 
After taken investigative measures, the prosecutor placed the two suspected individuals on foot under the continued investigative procedure.

The woman is also suspected of unauthorized driving and driving under the influence. Blood sampling has been carried out and analysis will show if the suspicions remain.

The boy has been handed over to the custodian.
