1:11 AM, Kiruna

1:50 AM, Jokkmokk

An A-tractor is stopped for control in central Jokkmokk. Fines are issued due to the unauthorized number of passengers in the vehicle.

A driver is checked in the Inner City. Fines are issued due to "offensive behavior by making noise in a public place by playing music".

1:57 AM, Luleå

After a short pursuit in the Inner City, a driver is stopped for control. The driver, a foreign man who later turns out to lack a driver's license, blows positively in the police's screening instrument.

The man is arrested and later that night is detained, after a decision from the prosecutor.

Sampling is performed and interrogation is held. A report is prepared regarding severe drunk driving and unauthorized driving.

2:20 AM, Luleå

A traffic control is held on Highway 97, Södra Sunderbyn. Four drivers receive fines due to speed offenses.

2:38 AM, Jokkmokk

A driver is stopped for control. Suspicion of drunk driving arises and the driver, a man, is accompanied for sampling. A report is prepared.

A summary of the police's work in connection with Splash in Luleå

The event on Friday has gone well, the festival has been very orderly from an order perspective. High presence of police and order guards, as well as other preventive forces such as social services, field workers, etc. have contributed to this. Few crimes have been reported.

The police have also collaborated with the coast guard, which was good since there was some sea traffic near the southern harbor in the evening.

In addition, the police had drone pilots on duty during the evening, which made it possible to have a good overview of and around the area. The police were able to work proactively and quickly move to places where they were needed.

There were many young people on site, where some young people were over-intoxicated and needed to be taken care of.
