17:53 SOS alarm about fire in terrain outside Värnamo. According to the alarm, an area of 20 x 20 meters is said to have started burning. 

18:16 Fire department wishes police to the scene as a witness has seen a person leave the scene and there has been a suspicion that the fire may have been set.

18:30 Police patrol on site.

19:42 After information gathering and conversation with the witness, a man in his 80s has been arrested suspected of arson.
