When a patrol was supposed to stop an A-truck for a control on Mjölbyvägen outside Tranås, the driver chose to step on the gas. The uniformed police officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit. A pursuit was initiated and the speed reached over 100 kilometers per hour at some point. Inside Tranås, the A-truck was lost sight of but was soon found parked. The driver, a boy under 18 years old, was arrested nearby without drama and is now suspected of attempted gross violence against a public official and unauthorized driving.
