Police alarm reports that a man has been found injured outdoors at a street in Hageby, Norrköping. Police are now working to secure a possible crime scene and search for the perpetrator. 

It is currently unknown how seriously injured the affected man may be, but he has been taken to hospital in an ambulance.  

Initially, work is being done on the hypothesis that it involves some form of assault. A location is cordoned off for further investigation. An attempt will also be made to gather valuable information from people who were in the surrounding area. At present, the police must focus on making initial investigative measures and therefore no further details can be disclosed at this stage.   

Update 15:02: A larger resource is still on site at and around the area where the man was found. Technicians are called to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. The incident is currently being investigated as aggravated assault.

Update 15:30: Door-to-door questioning has begun in the area to learn more about what happened. There are still no arrested or suspects. 

Update 18:10: The cordon has been lifted and the majority of the police's present units have left the area. The investigation continues with interviews, compilation of technical results and further information gathering. Various seizures have been secured at the crime scene. No one has been arrested as a result of the incident. All indications are that the injured man was injured with some form of blunt object.
