The speed has a decisive importance for the outcome of a traffic accident. The most serious accidents often occur on roads with higher speeds and therefore the police will conduct extra speed checks throughout the country during week 15, that is, between April 7 to 13.

The speed checks will be carried out throughout the country, both visibly with laser instruments at the roadside, as well as covertly with average speed cameras – in both painted and civilian police cars as well as on motorcycles.
