The police's regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a 110 number of cases related to Östergötland's county.

02:17 – Fire, Mjölby
A fire alarm comes from Skänninge in Mjölby municipality. It is about a villa whose balcony is burning fiercely. No person is said to have come to physical harm in connection with the fire. At present, no natural cause has been identified as to why the fire may have started. The case is classified as arson. At present, there are no people suspected of committing a crime. The house will be cordoned off during the day to be able to further investigate the fire site.   

06:26 – Traffic accident, Åtvidaberg
Alarm about two passenger cars that are said to have collided with each other on county road 739 near Kvarnvik. At present, it is unknown if any of those involved have been injured. The police have recently arrived at the accident site to investigate what happened.  

Since the late Monday evening, the police have, among other things, carried out a number of routine checks on their own initiative or after alarm from the public.
