Police have handled a number of 80 events in Östergötland County between 10 pm and 7 am. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

There have been some traffic problems in connection with the strong winds, some trees have fallen over the roads. No traffic accidents that have become a police concern have occurred. Two wildlife accidents (deer) have been reported.

05:48 Burglary - Motala

Police are called to a villa in central Motala due to a burglary in progress. A resident of the house wakes up to noise from the basement floor and interrupts the burglary when the suspect flees. It is unclear if anything has been taken from inside the house, but from a vehicle parked outside, things had disappeared that were later found a short distance from the residence. The police have searched for the suspect in the area but at present, no one has been arrested.
