On Spängersleden in Gävle, a car drives off the road and into a lamppost.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, appears to be heavily intoxicated by alcohol and is therefore suspected of drunk driving, alternatively gross drunk driving.

The man is taken in for further testing.

The police also contact the street office to inform them about the knocked-down lamppost.
