The complainant was struck by one of the suspected individuals who was carrying a pistol during the robbery. The weapon was found and was not loaded.

An investigation into a serious robbery has been launched. The complainant is lightly injured.

The complainant has been taken to hospital for a check-up on his head injury. Police patrols continue to search for the two suspected men.
