The police want to warn drivers about extreme slippery conditions in large parts of Hälsingland. Several accidents have occurred in a short time.

At 12:35 a car drove on highway 83 and into a tree in Söderhamns municipality. A total of four people were traveling in the car, including two children.

Several people are injured, but it is still unclear to what extent.

At 13:01 the next alarm came in about a traffic accident, this time just north of Söderhamn, and several people are seriously injured after a head-on collision between two vehicles.

The police urge all those who are going to venture out in traffic to exercise great caution and lower their speed.
