April 30, 22.35, Police operation/command, Uppsala

The police have been on site in Uppsala throughout the day and evening in connection with the Walpurgis Night celebrations. During Walpurgis Night, a large number of visitors have been in the city, and the day and evening had proceeded by 22.30 without any major disorderly conduct. 

At 22.30, a total of 53 people had been taken into custody according to the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons (LOB).

The police are continuing to work throughout the evening and night to ensure a safe Walpurgis Night celebration.
