Police are investigating a serious crime in the western parts of Norrköping. The police are working intensively with information gathering to get clarity on what happened.

Yesterday, a shooting occurred in Folkparken in Marieberg in Norrköping.

A man in his 20s was injured. The extent of the injury is serious and the injured man is being treated in hospital.

Two people have been arrested by the police. The two individuals were apprehended outdoors in Norrköping a short time after the shooting. The two suspects are being held, suspected of attempted murder and serious firearms offenses.

The cordons that were in place were lifted at 02:00.

The investigation continues today with information gathering, interrogations and analysis of yesterday's information.
