Vid 22:30-tiden inkom flera samtal till polisen gällande explosions that were heard in the Skiftinge area in Eskilstuna. The police head to the area and can confirm that the explosions were caused by fireworks.

Vid 23:30-tiden, the police are alerted to Laggarhult in Katrineholm due to a man reportedly walking around in several gardens. The patrol arrives at the scene and finds a man. The man has not committed any crime but has no business in the gardens, and is therefore removed from the scene by being driven away by the patrol.
