The clock struck 23:10 when a call came in from a person who said he had been shot and was on his way to the hospital. A short while later, a shot-wounded man arrived at the hospital. The man was then awake and able to speak.

The police have found a suspected crime scene outdoors in Bromsten in northwest Stockholm. The crime scene is cordoned off pending a technical investigation. The police are now involved in an operation where they are gathering information in various ways. No one has yet been arrested in connection with the incident, which is being investigated as an attempted murder and gross weapons offense.
