A parked passenger car begins to burn on Norra Hamngatan in central Uddevalla. The police have been on the scene and have carried out some investigative measures, but the background to the fire is currently unknown. The incident is being investigated as vandalism through car fire.

A fire starts in an apartment on Skånegatan. The fire spreads to the roof of the house. The police have assisted the rescue services overnight with measures such as cordoning off the area and evacuating residents. The incident is currently being investigated as a serious arson. At present, there is no information on personal injuries. 

00:01, Vandalism – Uddevalla
The police are alerted that someone has fired fireworks on a parking lot on Kyrkogårdsgatan. In connection with this, four passenger cars are damaged. A report is being written regarding vandalism with an unknown perpetrator.

In connection with this, a man in his 30s is apprehended according to LOB. He is suspected of assault and will be heard when he is sober. The victim is a man of the same age. 

Violence in a close relationship – Borås
During the night, the police are alerted to a residence after a report that a woman has been beaten by her partner. The man is said to have hit her in the face and pulled her by the hair. This is not the first time something like this has happened. At the scene, the man is arrested on suspicion of assault and child welfare offense. There is no information that the woman needed to seek emergency medical care.
