The clock struck 23:10 when a call came in from a person who said he had been shot and was on his way to the hospital. A short time later, a shot man arrived at the hospital. The man was then awake and able to speak.

The police have found a suspected crime scene outdoors in Bromsten in northwestern Stockholm. The crime scene is cordoned off pending a technical investigation. The police now have an operation where they are collecting information in various ways. No one has yet been arrested for the incident, which is being investigated as an attempted murder and gross weapons offense.

The technical investigation of the crime scene has begun. The police have checked several people, but no one is currently arrested.
