On Friday, there were a lot of people on the move and the competitions flowed smoothly. The police worked on maintaining order. A driver was suspected of driving under the influence.
On Friday evening, there were festivities and many people were intoxicated, but good atmosphere. The police handled a number of cases, including a person who was taken into custody with the support of the LOB (Act on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons) and a few who were turned away from the festival area. After closing time, a case regarding driving under the influence was also handled.
On Saturday, the police's work continued in Lofsdalen, where many visited the competitions. A number of drivers received fines due to too many passengers in the cars as well as minor vehicle defects.
On the evening, there was generally good order. Two cases of assault outside the festival area were handled.
The event was well-attended and many people who had traveled from both Sweden and Norway were on site. The police are satisfied with how the weekend went, despite many people partying on a relatively small area. Security guards and organizers have made a good effort and the police are satisfied with the cooperation.
