Break-in in storage led to threatening situation.
Police were alerted to an address in central Uppsala in connection with a suspected ongoing break-in at a storage room.
The perpetrators are believed to have been confronted and apprehended by the public. A threatening situation is said to have arisen when one of the perpetrators, a 25-year-old man, threatened violence with a tool in hand. No one was injured in connection with the incident.
During the conversation with the police command center, the perpetrators, a 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, left the scene but were found by a patrol en route to the address.
The patrol conducted an interview and filed a report regarding gross illegal threats and theft (the man) and theft or illegal intrusion (the woman).
The individuals are known to the police from earlier.
