Under the morning, the police command center east received calls about a loose horse with a saddle that was galloping in the area around Hackefors. Police patrols were deployed to help with the capture of the horse and the control of the missing rider. Among other things, stables in the area were contacted in an attempt to trace where the team belonged.

The horse and rider were subsequently found and are said to have come out unscathed.
