Reports are coming in that a person is suspected of stealing controlled medication at a residence in Lycksele. The police arrive at the scene and the suspected person is found and identified. An interview is held and a report is filed. Initially, the case is being investigated as a serious theft and drug offense, possession.

05:16 Traffic control, Umeå
A fine (ticket) was issued at a traffic control on regional road 507 near Rödäng in Umeå due to speeding. The speed was measured at 83 kilometers per hour on a 70-kilometer stretch.

05:58 Traffic control, Umeå
About 15 drivers were checked for sobriety at a traffic control on regional road 363 on Västerslätt. All were without remarks. A fine was issued due to speeding at the control.

The police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.
