Conversations have been had about someone or several people pouring some kind of liquid on a door handle and lock to an apartment in Hofors. The initial suspicion is that it involves some kind of acid, but exactly what it is will be shown by test results.

A report on attempted break-in is being drawn up regarding the incident, with an unknown perpetrator.

To avoid being a victim of a break-in, the police advise talking to neighbors before leaving so that someone keeps an eye on the residence. One should also make sure to lock all locks on the door, if one has multiple.
