The public alerts the police after seeing three people get into a car and the caller suspects that the individuals are trying to steal the car.

The patrol is quickly on the scene, but the individuals have already left the vehicle. The affected car has had a window smashed and the ignition lock has been tampered with.

In the subsequent police work, including the use of a dog, three people are found who are arrested and are suspected of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.

The police have contacted the owner of the car during the night.
