Under the past few days, an intensive investigation has been underway in connection with a suspected kidnapping that originated in a town in Södermanland. In the work, we have worked to locate victims who are an adult person and a child.

The investigation has been ongoing in several parts of Sweden. On Sunday, a property was located in Western Sweden and a decision was made by the prosecutor to conduct a search of the premises. Both victims were found in connection with the search.

In connection with the implementation of the entire operation, the police have used several different parts of our capabilities. During the investigation, three people were apprehended and after a decision by the prosecutor, they have now been detained.

The victims are believed to be in good health, considering the circumstances.
