A traffic accident has occurred on E4 northbound between traffic stop Hållet and Påljungshage. A car has driven into another one from behind. 

17:18 No people are supposed to be injured. The cars are however damaged and not drivable. The right lane is closed which leads to significant traffic disruption in afternoon traffic. Other road users are urged to exercise caution, to keep a distance and to show consideration to blue light personnel who are working in a challenging situation.

The forecast is initially around 45 minutes.

17:49 A man in his 60s receives a fine for not having maintained a distance to the preceding vehicle. No one has needed to visit a hospital.
