The police have been contacted regarding a snowmobile with a pulk that is said to have ended up in the water in Vassijaure.

The police's on-duty commanding officer has made a decision to initiate a rescue operation in accordance with the Act on Protection against Accidents.

Mountain rescue teams and police helicopters are being ordered to the location.
