Under the day, the police have controlled traffic in the county. Here follows a selection of results from the checks:

13:21 Brännland, Umeå: Two fines were issued for speeding offenses, the highest recorded speed was 76 kilometers per hour on the 60-mile stretch.

13:45 Skolgatan, West in town, Umeå: Four fines were issued for speeding offenses and one due to lack of warning triangle. 

13:47 E12 Umgransele, Lycksele: Seven drivers were asked to blow into the police's breathalyzer, all were sober. The police also informed about the campaign against violence in close relationships: "Violence is not a private matter".
