Two men between 25 and 35 years old are suspected of attempting to buy sexual services, drug offenses, and money laundering.

Police seize cash, gold, and a watch from the men, who are suspected of money laundering because there are grounds to suspect that the assets originate from criminal activity.

Independent confiscation
Since November 8, 2024, a new provision has been in effect that allows assets with criminal origin from criminals to be seized. The property does not need to be linked to a specific crime or criminal gain to be seized and confiscated.

Purchase of sexual services
It is illegal to buy sexual services. This means that it is prohibited to pay for a temporary sexual encounter. It is not punishable to sell sexual services.

The penalty for minor drug offenses is fines or imprisonment for up to six months.
