At 20 o'clock on Saturday evening, an alarm was reported to the police about a serious crime in Skellefteå. 
When the police arrived at the scene, a woman was found seriously injured. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.

At the scene, a man was apprehended, suspected of attempted murder. The crime is alleged to have taken place indoors, in a dwelling.
