Police have handled a 140 cases in Östergötland County between 10 PM and 7 AM. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

Five wildlife accidents (elk/wild boar) have been reported. The police have also handled a 15 cases related to intoxication with apprehensions according to LOB or a ride to home/caregivers.

03:25 Assault - Mjölby

Police are called to an address outside in Skänninge due to a fight. A man is said to have been punched by another man. No one is seriously injured and no one is detained. A report of assault is drawn up with a 45-year-old man as suspected.

04:36 Traffic accident - Motala

A car ends up in the median strip after the driver swerved for an elk. About 50 meters of the median strip is driven down and the car must be towed from the scene. During the clearing work, the road was completely closed. The driver, a 20-year-old man, and the passenger, a boy under 18, are checked by an ambulance but can then be driven home by the police.
