Under Wednesday, the police have controlled traffic in the region. Here follows a selection of results from the controls:

08:00 E4 Röbäck, Umeå: Three flying inspections and one speed and rest control were carried out. A fine was issued for weight violation. 

08:02 Kolbäcksvägen/Krossvägen, Östra Ersboda, Umeå: All checked drivers were sober. A fine was issued for a broken headlight.

10:45 E4 Nedre Bäck, Skellefteå: Four heavy vehicles were checked and were without remark. 

10:45 Marknadsgatan, Umeå: Fines were issued for a parked car with driving and usage ban. The registration plates were seized. 

12:33 Järnvägsallén, Umeå: Fines were issued to a driver who used a mobile phone while driving. 

12:53 Storgatan, Öst på stan, Umeå: A fine was issued to a driver who failed to observe a yield sign.
