Vandalism at a summer house
Just after midnight, an alarm is received about someone unauthorized being on the premises of a summer house in the Nykyrka area outside Motala. Someone is believed to have been caught on camera destroying things. The police have spoken to the owner and filed a report on vandalism at the property. No suspect has been found.

Man taken into custody after burglary alarm
Just before 05:00, the police are alerted to what is believed to be a burglary in progress in a cellar in central Motala. According to reports, someone unauthorized tried to break in, resulting in loud noises. Upon arrival, a man is found and taken into custody by the police. He is suspected of vandalism and drug-related offenses.

The police have also carried out various routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public reports.
