Police regional command center has handled around 50 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Man arrested for severe assault
Around 22:40, police were alerted to a fight at an address in Eskilstuna. Officers were dispatched to an apartment on the address, where several people were present. Soon, information arrived that one of the individuals, a man in his 60s, had assaulted a woman in the apartment. The woman did not suffer serious injury. The man was then arrested for severe assault and was detained by prosecutors in the morning. 

Container fire in Eskilstuna
At 22:40, a report was received about a container on fire in Norr, Eskilstuna. Police were on the scene and investigated the incident. A report has been filed regarding damage caused by fire. There are no suspected individuals in the case. 

Police have also conducted various routine checks, either on their own initiative or in response to public reports.
