Vid 08:09, police were alerted to a fire in Marielund, Norrköping. Upon arrival, there was a lot of smoke in a stairwell of a multi-family house. Rescue services, ambulance, and police are on the scene.

Police set up a cordon at the scene at 08:27.

Vid 08:42, the fire is extinguished, and rescue services begin work to ventilate the house.

One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the damage is unclear.

Police are now working to gather information from residents and witnesses, as well as searching for clues on what may have caused the fire. The crime is currently classified as gross arson.

Update 09:35: It appears that the fire/smoke development started at the door of an apartment in the stairwell. A technical investigation will be conducted at the scene.

Update 9:37: A total of three people have been taken to hospital. The extent of the damage is unclear.
