Burglary, Vetlanda
04.10, police were alerted to a store in the Nydala area of Vetlanda due to a burglary alarm. 
Both security guards and police officers responded to the scene. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that a burglary had occurred. 
It is currently unclear whether anything was taken. The scene is currently cordoned off. Police will continue to be on the scene throughout the day to gather information and secure any evidence. 

Following a vehicle, Värnamo
At 23.50, a patrol was supposed to make a stop and check a passenger car, which chose not to stop on the police officer's signal. The police initiated a pursuit that ended in the Västhorja area of Värnamo. The driver of the car is a man in his early twenties, suspected of drunk driving, reckless driving, and minor drug offenses for personal use. The police seized his driver's license. A passenger, a woman in her upper teenage years, suspected of minor drug offenses for personal use, was also in the car.

Police have also conducted various routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public reports.
