23:03, theft – Mölndal
Residents in Lindome report a ongoing theft from parked cars. According to the caller, several masked people are trying to steal the headlights from at least two cars. The perpetrators then flee in a car. Several patrols search the area without finding any suspects. Two cars are said to have lost their headlights and a third car has been damaged. A report of theft from a vehicle and vandalism has been prepared. Later, similar alarms come in from Marklandsgatan, Gothenburg. There, three cars have been affected in a similar way. Possible connections between the thefts are being investigated.
01:03, assault – Borås
Staff at Södra Älvsborgs hospital report a brawl outside the emergency department. According to the caller, several people are assaulting a young man, including with punches and kicks. When security guards can close the doors on the attackers, they try to get in. Several patrols arrive at the scene and secure two suspected perpetrators. They are arrested and later detained suspected of aggravated assault. The complainant has, among other things, suffered injuries and a swollen lip.
03:54, other – Götene
A driver reports a large number of chickens and chicken coops on and around E20 in Götene. The coops are believed to have fallen off some form of transport. Since these constitute a traffic hazard spread over a long stretch, several patrols and rescue services are alerted to the scene. The road is closed while personnel try to investigate the circumstances and clear the road. The road is now open again and a report of inadequate cargo securing will be prepared.
