Police receive calls from a person who claims to have been assaulted, with kicks and punches, by unknown individuals in Västerås.

Several resources are dispatched to the scene and upon arrival, a person, a man in his 20s, is found injured at Djäkneberget.

The person is taken to hospital by patrol for further medical evaluation with unclear injury status. The man was then awake and able to speak.

There is currently no one in custody in the matter.

Patrol conducts an interview and prepares a report on the assault.
