An accident has occurred at a company in Gävle. It appears to be some form of explosion. At present, it is not clear what caused the explosion. There are no reports of injured persons.

Update 08:22: The explosion is believed to have occurred in or near some type of silo. For security reasons, the site is being cordoned off with great caution. There is significant smoke development at the site. 

Keep your distance if you are in the area and close windows and doors as the smoke is not good to breathe in. Follow the directives given by the police and rescue services on site. 

08:41 - Some evacuation will take place within the security area. Those affected by this will receive clear information from rescue units on site.
