23:24 Vänersborg, assault
A man in his 40s contacts the police and states that he was hit on the head with a blunt object. The assault occurred outdoors, according to the caller, unprovoked. Two masked perpetrators, unknown to the victim. The police are searching the area, including with a dog patrol. No suspected person is found. Some traces, as well as information from witnesses to the incident, are secured. A report is written regarding gross assault. The victim is awake and able to speak, otherwise unknown injury status. A police patrol drove the man to the hospital for treatment.

A parked car caught fire for unknown reasons. Severe fire, the car is described as completely engulfed. Police and emergency services are sent to the scene. The police set up a report on vandalism through fire. The car is completely destroyed. There is currently no suspect in the case.
01:27 Polisområde Älvsborg, extortion
A young man contacts the police and states that he is being extorted for money. The young man had previously sent intimate photos of himself in a chat, believing he was chatting with a young woman. However, the account is hidden by a man, who now demands payment not to spread the photos further. The police have heard the victim and set up a report regarding extortion. Currently, there is no suspect in the case.
01:44 Göteborg, malicious destruction of property
An alarm is received about a loud explosion on a villa street in Utby. At the scene, it is confirmed that the windows of a car and a conservatory are shattered. No personal injuries. Finds at the scene suggest that it is a hand grenade that has detonated. Barricades are set up and technicians and national bomb protection are called in. Parallel to this, the police are searching for the perpetrator(s), including with a dog. No suspect has yet been found. The incident is being investigated as malicious destruction of property and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods. Early on Tuesday morning, the technicians were finished at the scene. The barricades were lifted.
04:00 Uddevalla, theft
The police are contacted by Norwegian colleagues regarding a vehicle theft. A city bus has been taken in Oslo, and via GPS, it can be seen that it is driving on Uddevallabron, E6, towards Gothenburg. At traffic junction 91, the Swedish police can stop the bus. Behind the wheel is a 15-year-old boy. He is handed over to social authorities, awaiting Norwegian police. A report is filed regarding unauthorized driving.
