On E18 at the height of Rocklundamotet, a police patrol is attempting to carry out a stop of a vehicle. The driver refuses to stop and a pursuit is initiated in the direction of Enköping.

During the ongoing pursuit, which lasts for approximately ten minutes and at times at high speeds, among other things, the vehicle is subjected to skid tests.

In the end, the car can be stopped with the help of a spike mat and the driver, a man in his 40s, is apprehended suspected of several crimes. These include gross unauthorized driving, gross negligence in traffic, driving under the influence, and narcotics offenses.

The man is also found to be wanted for previous criminal activity.

No person is reported to have been physically injured in connection with the pursuit.
