Under Saturday morning, a man tries to break into a residence in Österåker but is caught by the homeowner who takes the man down.

The man who tried to break in is held until the police arrive at the scene.

The man is taken into custody in accordance with the law on intoxicated persons and is suspected of aggravated home invasion, vandalism, and drug offenses.

No one is believed to have suffered physical harm in connection with the incident.
