The woman has received a number of blows but is said to have managed to get away and run from the man.

Police have worked at the scene overnight to search for the perpetrator, both to search for the perpetrator and to secure any potential evidence. The work has been done with, among other things, a dog patrol. Forensic technicians have also conducted a technical examination of the suspected crime scene. 

A preliminary investigation has been launched regarding an attempted rape. No one is currently being detained.
