Drivers who were driving vehicles on E 22 east of Kristianstad in the direction of Kristianstad refused to stop for a sobriety check by the police. A pursuit starts as it goes onto E22 towards Kristianstad. At the Helgeå bridge construction, there is a minor collision between the pursuing car and another vehicle. No personal injuries to those traveling in the vehicle that was hit. The vehicle goes off towards Hammar and eventually comes to a stop on Sjöhemsvägen. No police officers are injured.

One person is arrested and a report is filed for a number of offenses.

Aggravated unauthorized driving, aggravated drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic, and hit-and-run traffic accident.
