Two women have called at the home of an elderly woman and claimed that they were from home care and are there to take samples from the woman. When they have been let in, they take the woman's gold jewelry before leaving the residence.

The police have been on the scene and conducted a crime scene investigation and filed a report on gross theft.

Advice from the police:

Do not let in unknown people in your home. Police can always identify themselves with identification. The same applies to home care and other functions that visit elderly people in their homes.

Lock yourself in and call the police on 114 14 if you suspect a scam attempt. Call 112 if you think the scammers are on their way to your home.

Never hand over a code, bank card or valuable items to an unknown person.
